A solid square prism is carved away at its intersections, revealing angled planes, notches, and abrupt transitions. Its upright, almost enclosed mass gives the object the presence of a sculpture rather than a vessel in the traditional sense.

Incised into the metal surface, recessed lines introduce a contrasting language to the precision and rationality of its cut planes. Each mark carries a sense of direction and force, lending an individual expression to an otherwise pure geometric form.
